EE Assistant Director Chris Worden Stepping Down

We regret to announce the resignation of EE assistant director Chris Worden. Chris is a co-founder of EE and has served as main curator of the festival (among many other tasks) for the past 13 years. He is leaving to devote his full-time attention to his PhD studies at the University of Guelph. He will be greatly missed and will be irreplaceable. Electric Eclectics will continue presenting and celebrating experimental and adventurous sound and music in Meaford into the future. We wish Chris great success with his future academic and musical adventures!

Japanese avant guitarist and noise legend returns to Toronto for an obviously-not-to-bemissed performance. Extreme guitar mastery piercing tones, heavy shredded chords, busted walls of noise. Don’t sleep on this heavy hitter!BRIAN RURYK
Toronto avant garde anti-legend Brian Ruryk is easily one of the city’s best kept secrets, Ruryk has been manipulating the concepts of sound since the 80s. Free jangled guitar notes spray over a live collage of junk percussion & chaos. Tape samples squeal out amongst herky jerky clatter of Ruryk’s eclectic set up. Much like the coming together of puzzle pieces in a way in which they do not fit, then experiencing the process in which the puzzler, instead of sorting the pieces, just cuts & mangles them to create a new image.

See you tonight! Here’s some important info!

The gate will open at 5 PM today, and at noon on Saturday and Sunday! Tickets will be available at the gate.

Some things to remember:

  1. This is a cash-only event!
