Free Workshop at Heartwood Hall, Sunday, Oct. 29, 3-5 pm followed by live concert.

Interested in learning about classic 1960s/70s analog synthesizers? Join us for this free workshop at Heartwood Hall, 939 2nd Ave. E, Owen Sound, featuring instructor TImothy Glasgow (London ON). This will be an informal session demonstrating some basic and advanced techniques on how to use an analog synth. All ages are welcome and no prior experience is necessary. Later on, there will be a live concert with Ace of Wands (Toronto) with opening act Woodworker (Owen Sound.

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS

We have several volunteer positions which we would like to fill. We need some volunteers to arrive at the festival by Thursday Aug. 3 in the evening, or early on Friday Aug. 4, to assist with setting up. We also need volunteers to assist with takedown on Sunday Aug. 6. Please send an email to info@electric-eclectics.com with your name, cellphone number, and which days you are able to help on. If you are accepted as a volunteer you will receive a free weekend pass as well as backstage access. THANK YOU!

Electric Eclectics returns with our classic camping-and-concerts weekend at the Funny Farm outside of Meaford, ON, featuring the Berlin duo Alexander Hacke & Danielle de Picciotto, world-renowned Thereminist Dorit Chrysler (Berlin), Toronto’s Hot Garbage, Glass Orchestra founding members Miguel Frasconi & Eric Cadesky (“Half Glass Full”) and many more adventurous and experimental performers and artists.
