This year marks the 20th anniversary of the RBC Ottawa Bluesfest, and the sixth year of programming collaboration between the Bluesfest and EE! This year, we are very excited to co-present St. Vincent. Formerly of The Polyphonic Spree and Sufjan Stevens’ band, as St. Vincent, Annie Clark has been producing solo material since 2006,  as well as a collaborative album with David Byrne. Aside from her massively successful fourth album, she has recently generated attention by performing in Kurt Cobain’s stead alongside Kim Gordon, Lorde, and others during Nirvana’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction concert (she performed “Lithium”). Additionally, she’s secured this year’s coveted Saturday Night Live season finale musical guest spot, which was occupied by Kanye West last year.
