The Fakakta Twins are an experimental music project by Becky Katz and Matthew Anderson: partners, collaborators, and twins by vibration if not by blood. They formed in 2025 after years of scheming to collaborate.

Becky Katz (Please, Sourpussy, glassEYElashes, Freaky Boos) returns in full spastic form: channeling erratic melodies, twisted samples, and instinct-driven vocals with equal parts humour and menace. Matthew Anderson (Mustard Juice, Mark Moth) anchors the project with textural rhythms, looping structures, and subtle disruptions, creating a tense but playful dialogue between control and collapse.

Together, The Fakakta Twins make music that feels slightly broken, deeply intentional, and joyfully wrong—treating mistakes as method and repetition as ritual.
