The final lineup for this year’s EE has been confirmed. Added to the bill is Noveller, the project of experimental guitarist Sarah Lipstate, who has been touring this year with St. Vincent (EE’s co-presentation at the Ottawa Bluesfest on July 6th). Other late additions include Brian Schirk, plus a film by Andrew Zukerman and Winston Hacking!

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the RBC Ottawa Bluesfest, and the sixth year of programming collaboration between the Bluesfest and EE! This year, we are very excited to co-present St. Vincent. Formerly of The Polyphonic Spree and Sufjan Stevens’ band, as St. Vincent, Annie Clark has been producing solo material since 2006,  as well as a collaborative album with David Byrne. Aside from her massively successful fourth album, she has recently generated attention by performing in Kurt Cobain’s stead alongside Kim Gordon, Lorde, and others during Nirvana’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction concert (she performed “Lithium”). Additionally, she’s secured this year’s coveted Saturday Night Live season finale musical guest spot, which was occupied by Kanye West last year. Please strongly consider catching her as an EE co-presented act at 9PM on Sunday, July 6th, on the River Stage at RBC Ottawa Bluesfest!
